Canine Boarding

The canine members of your family will enjoy their stay in one of our private rooms or suites. Our smaller friends can stay in “Pipsqueak Beach”, an area reserved for the little breeds. All of our rooms are equipped with glass fronted doors, spill-proof bowls and soft orthopedic “Kuranda” beds. Non-chewers may opt for a soft, fleece bed pad. Your dog will enjoy relaxing music in their climate controlled accommodations.

To minimize gastrointestinal upset we ask that you provide your pet’s normal diet labeled and packaged in individual serving size portions.

Your furry friend will exercise and play in one of our secure, fenced-in outdoor play areas, or our indoor/outdoor playroom where they can enjoy the fresh air without worrying about rain or snow.

We offer fun add -on service and treats that will make your pet’s stay even more enjoyable. Ask our staff about “Kong Stuffin” , “Treat of the Day”, Individual or Group Playtime, Beach and Water Time, or one of our “Snack and Frolic Packages”.

We strongly recommend that your dog makes a reservation at our grooming salon for the last day of their visit so they can return home looking and feeling refreshed. They will be bathed using our hydro surge massage system with our signature tropical “Scent of the islands” conditioning shampoo and leave with a spritz of our matching cologne.

All dogs are required to present up to date vaccination records. We prefer vaccinations to be administered at least 10 days prior to check in. Vaccination records can be faxed to our facility prior to arrival to expedite check in.

Written proof is required for:

DHLPP- Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza

Bordatella- Canine Cough

Rabies

Feline Boarding

Our feline friends will stay in one of our private kitty condos with individual litter and dining areas. Playtime options include bird watching, observing the fish in our aquarium, climbing and playing on our multi-level gym, or just relaxing in our tree-house hammock.

Our kitty condos are located away from the hustle and bustle of the boarding dogs to provide a relaxing stay for our feline friends.

Your cat will eat the diet you provide in individual, labeled portions. This minimizes the risk of gastrointestinal upset.

All pets must be flea and tick free. Dogs with signs of fleas and/or ticks will be treated at our grooming salon at the owner’s expense before they will be allowed to access their accommodations.

All stays at Dog Heaven Pet Resort must be booked in advance. We require a Visa or MasterCard on file to accept reservations. Cancellations not made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival will be subject to a one day boarding fee.

Please allow sufficient time upon arrival so our staff can assess your special friend and customize their stay to their unique physical and emotional needs.

Doggie Play Days

Our facility offers numerous secure play areas for Doggie Day Care. Your furry friend can romp and play with friends of similar size and temperament under the supervision of our caring staff. Dog Heaven Daycare is the perfect place for your pet to enjoy safe and fun activities instead of staying home alone.

Before enrolling in our day care activities your pet will be evaluated for group play. This ensures that all of our dogs have a safe and pleasant playtime.

At Dog Heaven Day Care our staff reserves the right to remove a dog based on their behavior.

Dog Heaven Grooming

We have two locations to make your pet look and smell their very best.

At Dog Heaven Pet Resort our grooming salon completes the “island experience” with our signature tropically scented conditioning shampoo and matching cologne. Nail filing and ear cleaning are included in our goodbye groom. For our shedding friends, a shedless treatment is available. Full grooms with styling are available at an additional cost for our boarding and daycare guests.

Dog Heaven Spa

Dog Heaven Spa, our sister location at 278 N Market St. in Elysburg offers full service grooming for all breeds. Services include shedless treatment, whitening, oatmeal or hypoallergenic shampoos, nail filing, teeth brushing, blueberry facials, and our scent of the month program. All baths at both of our locations use the hydro surge injectair system which provides an invigorating massage to penetrate the coat, leaving your dog cleaner than ever! Grooming at Dog Heaven Spa is by appointment only, by calling 570-672-0300.

Dog Heaven Dog Wash

For the pet owner who likes to enjoy the bath experience with their pet, our Dog Heaven Spa location offers a “do it yourself” Dog Wash. This self-contained, climate controlled building offers a waist high tub with an easy access ramp. Pet owners can select a variety of shampoo and conditioning options, warm rinse, and a drying option. A treat and towel vending machine is also located in this building. Our Dog Heaven Self-Service Dog Wash is opened 7 days a week from 7AM to 11 PM.

Dog Heaven Spa also provides a variety of retail toys and treats for sale, as well as the sale of flea and tick control treatments, collars and leashes, pet lover gifts, personalized tags and birthday cakes by special order.
